Just use STYLE command, and change typeface of currently selected style
(bookman in my example file). It was my fault, I posted an example with a
seldom font I use but not standard to windows.
With STYLE command, select a TrueType font as tipeface (you'll see them because
they've got a Tt before name in drop-down listbox.
As the example is quite small, you'll notice the slowdown only on a praticular
zoom factor. First try to pan the drawing; if it's smooth, slowly zoom with the
wheel, in and/or out, one step each time. As the problem arises on a zoom
factor that depends on monitor size and other stuffs, I can't be sure that
it'll appear at first.
You'll notice the right zoom factor when, zooming a bit more (in or out) you'll
notice a long delay (1-2 seconds) before image gets updated. Once you find it,
try to pan; if it goes smooth, you've zoomed too far, so try to go back (in or
out depending on previous zoom). You'll find a zoom factor on which panning
becomes a pain.
This is a VERY small sample; on real drawings it becomes really unusable.
If you still can't reproduce it, I can send to you a real drawing on which
there's no "good" zoom factor, it's slow everytime.
