Afaik, the demo versions are *exactly* the full versions, you shall just leave
the serial number as 000-00000000 as proposed.... The problem is that on
autodesk site you'll find just the latest (2009) which doesn't run nor install
for sure.

They've also the 2006 and 2007, but both have other problems.
2006 installs (IIRC) with same regostry problem.
