NB: The app is functional, even at this reduced level, *only* with native
comctl32.dll.  Using builtin comctl32 breaks the toolbar/menus seen at the top
of the screen (toolbar w/ icons isn't drawn) in the screen shot.  There is no
way (e.g., with keystrokes) to open the Options window or reach Port Settings
without the toolbar.
