Attaching a GPS receiver to the Keyspan serial/USB adapter (known to work under
Windows, and identified as /dev/ttyUSB0 when connected under Linux), as
expected, had no influence on the app.  The Instruments portion of Options
includes a search for GPS data on serial ports.  As before, nothing was found
and the "computer" (sic) is reported to have no COM ports (links in
.wine/dosdevices/ are not being used).
