Unfortunately, we do not support that configuration, even though sometimes it
magically works.

Please start with a clean ~/.wine directory -- move your current .wine
directory aside so you don't delete anything, and then run wineprefixcreate to
make a new ~/.wine directory. Then install Diablo 2 using Wine, and try again.
If you still experience the same problem, reopen this bug.
