I can't find the bug using git, even using any of the 2 possible
interpretations of "git bad" as: last checked good or last checked bad. IMO the
wiki has some ambiguous wording in it.

Anyway, I set git using all development library except 3D/OpenGL library. I
suspect probably there are differences of library used..perhaps.. between
binary available from http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/archive/index.html (where
the problem exist) and the one set by git.

I attached the list of additional library (debian etch with backports) I
installed for setting up git.

Temporary workaround: probably install wine from source..
