I can confirm that this bug also exists in 0.9.57 on Ubuntu AMD64.

Workaround for the lack of a normal left click:
- Right click and then left click in that order at almost the exact same time,
with some practice you can use it to register left mouse clicks.

Apart from this, iTunes seems to work quite well... very impressive.
