[Bug 12075] Endnote X1: crashes when selecting text by mouse

The Endnote demo has the same problem, so this provides a good test case:

1. download and install endnote demo from http://www.endnote.com/endemo.asp
2. Run Endnote and select "create new endnote library" from the initial menu
3. create a new referenc (CTRL + N)
4. Enter some text into any field (e.g. "John Doe" into the Author field)
5. Click into another field (e.g. Year)
6. Use the mouse to select the text (or some part of it) in the previous field
starting from the last character.
7. Release the mouse button
8. (if not crashed yet) click into another field
