So found yet another regression that causes gametap to crash after logging in.
It's caused by

The attached patch reverts 3 patches, and makes gametap happy entering the menu
after logging in. All menus seem to work fine, but i was not (yet?) able to
start a game; when i try start a free game nothing really happens. Will try to
find out later if i can find the cause...
