The installer issue still exists in wine 0.9.58. One thing I should add is that
it crashes directly after/during the part of the installer that "migrates
application features". The following is the fixme that occurs right before the
crash.

fixme:msi:msi_unimplemented_action_stub MigrateFeatureStates -> 2 ignored
L"Upgrade" table values

To my surprise though, something in wine 0.9.58 fixed the issue with the
application crashing when trying to load it's actual UI. So now the program is
nearly fully functional as long as you install dcom98 and set mdac to native.
