Hi,

Sorry, I'm "on the road" so to speak...

The way I reproduce it is simply trying to start it. When I do a clean install
of BYKI with wine.0.9.58 on Ubuntu 7.10, it occasionally hangs during the
installation, but I can eventually get it to finish. After that, I can't start
it at all. And I have tried completely removing .wine and deleting wine from
my system, and reinstalling it all, and it doesn't seem to help.

On my computer at home, using the distribution and building it, I can get it to
start up, but there's no sound. So there may be two problems. One which was
introduced late that is leading to the crash and one early on that is causing
problems with the sound...I say that because during the regression testing
(which I should get back to this weekend), I start off with 'git bisect bad'
because it started but there was no sound. So I never tested the "top", or
most recent, set of fixes to see if one of them was responsible for the crash.

To run the program, I assume that you downloaded some language, you just select
a list (there's a pull-down menu at the top that will take you to the screen to
select a list) and start with "Review it". It will open up the flash cards and
you should hear someone repeating what's on the card. There's a button on the
lower left labeled "Play Sound" to hear it again.

Thanks,

Rob
