This is a very severe bug in the wined3d surface / texture. One of the patches
I submitted a while ago to fix other bugs exposed this one. It might require a
lot of patches to fix it. We will enter a code freeze soon but I think this
issue is quite severe and should be fixed as it affects a lot of programs.
