Yes, the demo has exactly the same problem. So for you to re-produce the error,
follow these steps:

1.) download and install fugawi4514_demo.exe
2.) override gdiplus.dll to be native-only
3.) start fugawi
4.) choose demo marine emc
5a.) import some maps (if you've got some) under ->maps ->install maps
- or -
5b.) just close the application with ->file ->exit

In both cases you should see the OLE error 80004002.
