I am sorry for the delay required to provide the log file but I have no access
at this time to the concerned machine. 

However, I just figured that by using the builtin version of rpcrt4.dll of
wine-1.0rc1 (and probably earlier versions too), running Office 2007 components
work fine. A native dll is still required for the installation but I believe it
is already the subject of another bug report.

I suppose this renders this bug report irrelevant. If this is the case, I guess
it can be marked as FIXED or whatever fits it best.
