no.  i cannot restart X with ctrl+alt+bksp.  i also cannot switch to a standard
tty--mouse is locked, keyboard is locked.

the hardware is an HP Compaq dx5150 with integrated ATI Radeon Xpress 200

xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.4.99.901-29.20080415.fc9.x86_64
xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.8.0-14.fc9.x86_64
