I agree, having an option to turn on a start menu and task bar
in windowed mode might appeal to some people.

And for maximal dogfood testing, I would like
to switch my account from Gnome to 
Wine Explorer (+ maybe metacity) for the primary desktop.

None of these should be the default, of course.
