Ringt now I'm using KDE's own manager, it's named KWin IIRC.Compiz is running
but I did not replaced window manager so far.I may also give it a try with
Emerald if you wish but it looks like this will not change anything.Asked
friend to test with Gnome and there is same issue - in full screen there is
window menu not hidden as well (menu of "windows" window, not window manager's
stuff).

I suspect that to reproduce you can just launch HMM4 and try full-screen
mode.If you still haven't got idea, compare full screen mode with original
Windows then.There will be a real full screen without window menu bar when
full-screen mode chosen.Probably there is some troubles in handling specific
actions sequence or something like this so menu bar is not hidden in Wine but
in windows it is.
