Ok, i had 5 minutes to test it and i can confirm myself that the problem is
Gtk+ related.
I can also confirm that Wine prints out tons of
fixme:font:ExtTextOutW flags ETO_NUMERICSLOCAL | ETO_NUMERICSLATIN | ETO_PDY
unimplemented
that the Gtk# demo i tested before (the one shipped with Mono) didn't print
out.

I'm using Wine 1.0-rc2, so the problem is still present in last release...
