This also happens with a native d3dx9_36.dll.

I have investigated[1] this somewhat and found that the last function called in
the thread that blocks is wglMakeCurrent.

[1] Launch with WINEDEBUG=trace+relay LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8 ~/dev/wine/wine
th105.exe 2>trace.log, let the program run for a little while, break it twice. 
Less the log, search for block, search backwards for whatever thread blocks the
execution.
