wine messages during the error

When you start the installer from the DVD, you gonna get to a
language-selection-menu and when you press "ok" nothing happens.
You get the error messages from the attachment and the applications hangs.

Its the EU installer.
I tried it first with wine 1.0.1 and then 1.1.8 but same error.
