says you need to do 
  wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks
  sh winetricks riched30 msxml3
before installing.   If that's the case, then this is indeed a
valid bug (perhaps poorly reported). 

If somebody can confirm the above, we should probably open a
new bug report for this (reopening this one isn't a good idea
because of the bad vibe in the comments).
