Whether this Wine bug can be worked-around by using some special mode in a beta
version of Pmail is IMHO irrelevant.  It would surely be better to port Pmail
to Linux directly than to alter it to work in the current release of Wine?

The fact that the bug was not present in earlier versions of Wine suggests that
it could be squashed: Lei Zhang has already submitted a revert patch at #40
above.
