I sure hope I'm following the right bug trail. I started with 15996 which was a
dup of 15665 which was also closed as a dup to this one

I tried this patch with today's git and 1.1.9. Both times, I recieve no visual
output when the 3d engine kicks in for World of Warcraft. Shortly after the
game crashes with a this error.

Exception handler died
Original exception:
0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 0023:7DF205E4
The instruction at "0x7DF205E4" referenced memory at "0xCAD25010".
The memory could not be "written".

memory addresses are always the same
