Well, builtin amstream is mostly stub and quartz needs a some more work.
To be honest, there is a long way to have it working with builtins dlls.
I would suggest to create a bug about builtin amstream which describes your
experiments (builtin amstream and native one/builtin quartz) and mark this bug
as duplicate to it. Bug 8712 could be marked duplicate as well. Can you do that
?
