I also experience this slowdown, a few Wine versions ago (around 0.9.56) it ran
at about 56fps at 800x600 with all graphics on high. Now it runs at about 10fps
with 800x600 and all graphics settings low.

I have:
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT
1GB RAM
OpenSuSE 11.0
