Are you still using Winetricks to install DotNet 2.0?  If so, please do a
reinstall with Mono and see if you are still having the problem.

I have a similar problem with my Mono install, but different from yours.  Mine
displays under another object rather than not at all.  At least mine is
useable, so you will be able to use the program while we work with Mids on the
problem.
