How did you install native comctl32?

Did you try using winetricks?  It works around a known difficulty with
overriding that.

cd $HOME
mv .wine .wine.old
wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks
sh winetricks comctl32

If that makes it work, you probably don't need to do the regression test.
