Hi Vitaliy,
thank you very much for the fast reply.
I "chmod 777 event*" and it works.
There are now two additional entries in the joystick selection menu => event3
and event4. In total I find 3 entries: HIDxxxx (=js0), event3 (=js0), event4
(=js1).
Hopefully the O/S does not reset the status of /dev/input/event* once I restart
my PC.
This was very important for me, therefore once again thanks a lot :-)
