I tried to install Ecco Pro 4.0.1 with Wine 1.0.0 on Ubuntu 8.04 Desktop AMD64,
and had the same issues. I tried removing all but the C: drive as suggested
above - didn't work. I then removed all drives except C: (../drive_c) and H:
(/home/david), and that did it - the 4.0.1 installer worked. Then upgraded to
v4.0.1.1 with no problems. And best of all, Ecco seems to be working correctly.
