I don't get this on Ubuntu 8.04 32 bit with Warcraft III 1.14 and the latest
Wine GIT with 1280x1024 resolutions on both the desktop and game, either with
or without -opengl.

Does the latest GIT work for you?

Otherwise explain more about your setup and please do a regression test.
