Thanks very much, with your wine package the fissures/crevices/crevasses are
gone.  I had to disable fbo again because I was getting a black screen instead
of the galaxy, but once i did that it seems fine with my version 1.01.

I am though having an unrelated issue where water on some planets isn't
rendering at all, that i only noticed after i upgraded to 1.01.  I guess I'll
post a seperate bug on that.
