I have the same problem now; I didn't have it before, when my video card was a
Geforce 6600GT; now that I upgraded to a 9800GTX+ the problem has appeared (the
nvidia binary driver was the same for both cards).

I don't have the problem on my laptop, which has a Geforce 7600Go card. I guess
this is an nvidia driver problem rather than a wine problem.
