That's what I'm proposing. Googling shows that some applications will fail if
an NTFS file system is not available. The patch in question was put in place to
satisfy one application.

I've sent an e-mail to wine-devel, so rather than get in an edit war over
reopening this bug, I'll wait for comments there before reopening.
