In 1.1.18 I barely noticed this bug, so it showed some improvement by then.
1.1.19 shows significant improvement over 1.1.19 and I can't reproduce the
delay in characters displaying typing as fast as I can (and I type pretty
fast), but my CPU monitor shows a noticeable increase in CPU usage.
In 1.1.19, when I pound multiple keys as fast as I can, I can still max out the
core that wine is running on, and the displayed characters lag behind the
input.
So it's good enough for me, but users with a slower processor may still be
experiencing it.
I have a Core2Duo running somewhere around 2.33 ghz. I don't recall completely,
but it might be an E2700. Not a new chip by any means, but certainly well above
the recommended system requirements for CS2.
