Does 'winetricks dcom98' help?  (It's risky, usually doesn't help these
days, but worth a shot.)
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=102&iTestingId=7669
shows that autocad 2000 still benefits from dcom98.
