That's fine:
drive_c is the default path, you'll find it defined as a disk drive using a
symlink   ~/.wine/dosdevices/c: -> ../drive_c  or similar.
Just checking it was in a path windows programs can 'see' through wine.

I'm guessing this is a language problem since the english version works ok.
It's a regression (put that into the bug keywords above).

Can you do a regression test using GIT?
If not, can you test previous wine versions available through synaptic?

Finally, perhaps you could host a .iso image of the Italian CD somewhere so
that others may do the regression test?
