I was pretty sure i have done this as the nvidia install specifically asks to
install them or not and i have tried both.  I even went with the ubuntu
restricted driver of 1.80 since I know it had worked prior but on the clean
install it still acted the same.  

Running 1.0.1 the mount manager doesnt fail btw and it seems the newer versions
do fail.

Ill give it another shot as reinstalling it until I get it right is not a big
deal at the moment.
