ok to close this as far as I'm concerned - the specific issue this bug was
opened for is resolved.  Turns out that presently the patcher is dependent on
Internet Explorer and it can be used w/ winetricks ie6.  When only using gecko
the patcher won't display at all and is unusable.

The game won't run, but that's beyond the scope of this bug and I'm sure
someone will put something in for that.  Thanks for the quick response.
