Quickbooks 2009 Premiere also appears to suffer from this issue. 
Tried patch from comment #5, no change.

I'm running a patched version of 1.1.27. I have a patch installed related to a
font issue.

Here is the relevant logs:

This is on a fresh install, not an upgrade.

I did a cabextract. Most of the files have these permissions.
-rw-rw-r-- 1 user user       960 2001-07-09 15:49 filename...

with 2:
-r--r--r-- 1 user user       960 2001-07-09 15:49 filename...

Any suggestions of what I can look at, or do?
