I still cannot minimize.
In the linux window manager, Minimize / Alt-F9 is greyed out.

When hovering the mouse over the icon in the title bar, I get the tooltip: 
"Window Menu"

Once, I have seen something odd: by clicking in the vicinity of the icon in the
title bar, I got a menu that looked like windows native.
It had the minimize function, and on the very last position "about wine".

I am, however, unable to reproduce to get that menu.
