This doesn't happen using Fluxbox. With or without "Allow the window manager to
control the windows" the game minimizes to the bottom left and restores just
the same.

I don't think these patches are causing any of the problems I'm seeing, they
just removed the workaround I was using.

Aside from the game minimizing when focus is regained instead of when lost it's
behaving pretty much as it would in windows, it just happens I don't want it to
behave like that so need some way to override it.
