It's not "a mono bug", It's a bug in the embedded scripting engine in Sims 3,
which just happens to bea very old version of Mono. Your proposed fix is "mail
EA and ask them to apply a mono patch"? Fine, do that. Meanwhile, Wine fails to
behave like Windows in some countries, making it useless for this app.
