[Bug 19879] Disney's snowwhite does not detect 16 or 32 bit color mode

At startup, the game gives message (dutch) "DirectDraw Fout: Disney's De
Afrekening moet worden uitgevoerd in duizenden of miljoenen kleuren (16- of
32-bits instellingen). Wijzig de beeldscherminstellingen. Klik op OK om terug
te keren naar Windows". 

In English: The game does not detect 16 or 32 bit color mode.
Then, the game aborts automatically.
I have tried both 16 and 24 bpp settings in Xorg.
