There are three bugs currently dealing with the same problem:
- Bug 5713, originally about a dialog stating "The Google Updater has detected
that your computer's Background Intelligent Transfer Service can not be started
properly."
- Bug 9990, originally about a dialog stating "Invalid command line -install
-extra ..."
- This bug, which is the closest we are to the current situation: "Google
Updater cannot continue (error 0x80004005)"

I'm proposing Bug 5713 and Bug 9990 be closed as they are now both fixed.
