It seems I disable the composite code fully in the hack I posted. The window
hack might not work properly at all. I created for an app we had to get running
on Linux and it had to work on drivers which didn't support composite+gl well
yet. If you don't use the hack window rendering should work fine (unless it
really can't open xcomposite). Try if other windowed opengl apps like google
earth or so work well.
