I mean that without installing dotnet20 with winetricks it works after running
the game's installer twice (because the .NET 2.0 installer that the game's
installer launches does enough to satisfy itself that .NET 2.0 is installed).

By installing dotnet20 first, the installer works the first time (i.e. you
don't need to run it twice) as well as working all subsequent times.
