4th test - threadread

this is running a writer-thread and a reader-thread; 50 messages
are sent, of 512 bytes each.  short reads of 16 bytes are used
to retrieve each message.
this test generally making things keel over quite badly :)
xp also gets pretty unhappy if you increase the number of messages to 500.
there's a limit you can set, somewhere, i believe.  haven't found it yet.
