I'm not optimistic this is likely to get fixed anytime soon.  We're
selling a Linux based Internet TV box, and this is a kind of blocker
bug for us.  If anyone has any insight on what it would take to get
this fixed, I would love to hear from you (jborn at
neurostechnology.com).  BTW, the product is the Neuros LINK:

We can't even get a meeting with move on this subject and we're a potential
customer!
