I have observed the same bug trying to run System Shock 2, which as far as I
know uses the same Game Engine.

I am using Fedora 10, kernel 2.6.27.9-159.fc10.x86_64, and NVidia's latest
driver, NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-177.82, with all the 32-bit compatibility stuff
loaded.

I have tried to schedule wine on one cpu with no change.
