This sounds like bug 16165. Please retest using either native winhttp.dll or a
git version after January 1st 2009 (after commit
04b8ec07a6e9c5888bc306939eaffdfa549580e1) and mark this as a duplicate of bug
16165 if either of those (or both) fix the problem.
